Power To The People: Clean Energy Technology

In the light of global warming and a decrease in the earth's resources utilized for energy, it is important that new energy technology be developed. In addition, it is important to prevent gas emissions that pollute the atmosphere. Therefore, it is important that clean energy technology be developed.

In order to be knowledgeable about clean energy power it is important to understand what clean energy is. In addition, it is important to point out the strides that are being made in clean energy technology by citing specific of clean energy technology that is being developed.

What Is Clean Energy?

Clean energy is that energy that when created does not release harmful emissions into the atmosphere. In addition clean energy, when expended and utilized for power, does not harm the earth’s atmosphere or contribute adversely to Earth’s delicate ecosystem.

Examples Of Clean Energy Technology

There are many possible energy sources that are being explored as possible areas were clean energy technology can be developed. Specifically, three of those types of areas that are incorporating clean energy technology include the use of wind, solar energy and the ocean.

One of the clean energy fuels that are being explored is the use of the sun powerful rays. This form of clean energy technology is generally captured using solar panels. More specifically this type of technology utilizes photovoltaic cells to capture the power of the sunlight and transform the power through a number of processes into usable energy. This particular clean energy technology has seen good results when it comes to mounting those solar panels on to a home. Additionally new experiments include the construction of solar panels on the roof of experimental solar powered cars.

Another example of clean energy technology is through the use of capturing power from the ocean. The promise of this energy is realized as the waves continually flow from the ocean to the shore. As the waves move over certain pieces of technology the power is captured through the force of that wave and is then captured and transmitted and put to use.

One additional example of clean energy technology is through the use of capturing wind power. This particular clean energy technology has made significant strides especially in areas where wind is constantly blowing. Specifically, the wind turns the large propeller like equipment that is mounted on a large pole. In addition, as the propeller turn a generator is engaged which creates the electricity. This electricity is then captured through the use of electrical grids.
